Memorial Weekend w/ the Fam

Memorial Weekend was AWESOME!

We had good food and good conversation...and it was SO wonderful to have EVERYONE home at the same time for once. It seems impossible these days to get Ellen and Jared here, especially with Ellen working most weekends now. Friday night we watched one of the movies in a series Jack Ring recommended to Dad. All of us were like WHAT THE HELL the first 15 minutes into it. It was so gory, weird, and so INCREDIBLY fucked up. I think the series is called THE FEAST. And we put in FEAST II - "They're Back, and They're HUNGRY". The title alone is funny...come on. Here are some hilarious parts that had us busting out laughing:

  • And for God's sake, stop touching the FUCKING organs!!
    IT'S A SCIENCE!!!!

  • Hey shouldn't we shut this thing off?????
(pole shoots through his face and black guy pretends he doesn't see anything)

  • Why can't I go along?
    You're staying here, shitpants.

  • AWRIGHT!!!!!! Which one of you PYGMIES wants to go first???

  • How do you know what you're doing?
You just let me do my thing.
Where'd you learn this stuff? The army?
    No, Rambo 3
(lights wound on fire and blows his entire arm off by accident)

  • Grandma is all burned from acidic monster puke, her arm falls off when someone pulls on it, she gets green rotting pus dumped out of her, and gets shot via catapult over to next building and slams into the cement, and she's STILL alive and moaning.

Saturday morning we went to breakfast at The Woods in Waupaca. Ellen took this picture of Jared in my car and of course immediately posted it on facebook, which he was mad about. He has some damn unruly hair and I almost never see it when it's freshly cut...it must not stay that way for long.

This was taken shortly before he cut his coke toenails in my car and they were flinging everywhere. Then he gathered them up, told Heidi he had a present for her in the parking lot, and dumped them in her hand. Bah ahhaa. Gross, I know. But you should have seen her face.

Here are pictures of the five doggies, and some of Mom & Dad's pretty yard!
